Paul is a baritone soloist. He is experienced in classical repertoire such as art song, opera and oratorio, and musical theater repertoire. He has served as the soloist at First Congregational Church, Los Angeles and All Saints Episcopal Church in Pasadena. He directs a boys’ choir, Jubilate! and a changing voices choir, Evolution.

Currently, Paul serves as the music director at The Episcopal Church, Transfiguration in Arcadia. Paul is an excellent accompanist and is available to accompany. He has worked with various soloists and ensembles throughout his career. He enjoys collaborating with other musicians. As a music director, Paul has led more than 20 musicals through rehearsals and performances. He is adept at making the necessary adjustments in the music to help singers shine on stage. His goal always is to make the singers/actors have the best experience possible. Paul is available to be a music director.

Professional Affiliations

Paul is a member of the National Teachers of Singing (NATS), Music Teachers of California (MTAC) Pasadena branch, a life-time member of the American Choral Directors Association (ACDA), National Association for Music Educators (NAfME), and the Southern California Vocal Association (SCVA).

I didn’t appreciate the importance of the music theory that you taught me until I got into college and attended their music theory class and realized how much easier it was for me because you had taught me theory as part of my piano lessons.
